Structured lessons

28 lessons, a few keys at a time

Start on the home row and work outward: top row, bottom row, modifiers, numbers and symbols. Each lesson introduces new keys, then reinforces them with patterns, words and sentences.

Six steps per lesson, from warm-up to assessment, with a star rating so you know when you have it down.

The lesson list grouped into phases, with completed lessons marked and star ratings for each
Practice that adapts

It finds the keys holding you back

Type Tutor Pro tracks your accuracy and speed on every key. After each session it shows exactly which keys tripped you up and which finger to use.

  • Timed speed tests and a daily challenge
  • Quote library and your own custom text
  • Typing games, including one for code
A session results screen with words per minute, accuracy, XP earned, and the keys to review with the finger for each
Progress you can see

Streaks, records and 75 achievements

Watch your speed climb on the dashboard, see per-key accuracy on a keyboard heatmap, and earn achievements and certificates as you go.
